Digital Imaging Research Group (DIRG), Loughborough University aims for international excellence in fundamental and applied
research in image/video coding/analysis, computer graphics, robotic vision/control and communication technologies. Located
in the Holywell Park Campus, the DIRG has world class research facilities well supported by the central research and administrative
services of the Loughborough University. We are a member group of the Vision, Imaging & Autonomous Systems Research Division of
the Department of Computer Science and are affiliated to the Research School of Informatics, Loughborough University.
DIRG's collaborative, multi-disciplinary research is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC),
UK, Technology Strategy Board (TSB, formerly DTI, UK) and British industry. We warmly welcome research and enterprise collaboration
from highly motivated individuals, organizations and industry in our endeavour to actively contribute to the cutting-edge R&D in
our key areas of focus.
